What is R-Value Insulation?

R-Value measures how well insulation resists heat flow (thermal resistance). Simply put, the higher the R-Value the better the insulation will reduce heat flow. Save on Ceiling Insulation with the Warmer Kiwi Homes government grant

In partnership with PIL Group; registered service providers to the EECA (Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority), JMM is able to fit insulation into your home at a significantly reduced rate under the government's Warmer Kiwi Homes programme. This grant covers 80% of the cost to install ceiling and underfloor insulation.

Insulation Laws for Rental Properties

Effective July 1st 2019, ceiling and underfloor insulation is compulsory in all rental homes.
