Stop draughts from underneath your house and retain up to 14% of heat with underfloor insulation
An uninsulated floor could have your home losing between 12-14% of heat through your floorboards. When insulating your building we use a polyester insulation blanket, stapled and fitted between the floor joists.
Underfloor insulation creates a quieter home via reducing the sound on wooden floors and can prevent moisture from a damp floor. To further reduce moisture, we can fit a Ground Moisture barrier too.
Add a ground moisture barrier for a dry, healthier building
Don't be a part of the 30% of New Zealand homes that are damp. We install Ground Moisture Barriers, a sheeting placed over the ground beneath your home designed to keep moisture in the ground and out of your home. Dehumidifiers and ventilation systems can counteract the moisture brought into your home, however a ground moisture barrier can prevent the opportunity for dampness to arise in the first place.
In combination with underfloor insulation, a Ground Moisture Barrier is a cost-effective and substantial way to protect your home from the elements.
